ParentLove Review 2026: Pros, Cons and Pricing compared with Milk Diary

An honest ParentLove review: what it costs, who it suits, what parents say, where it falls short, and how it compares with Milk Diary.

The short verdict

ParentLove is an all-in-one baby tracker, co-founded by an IBCLC. It logs nursing, pumping and bottles, including breast milk and formula in one bottle, along with sleep, growth and medicine. Sharing with unlimited caregivers is free and upgrades are one-time purchases instead of subscriptions. It has 4.9 stars on both the App Store and Google Play. If you want everything in one app and prefer to pay once, it is a strong choice.

Where it is weaker: the free version shows ads, which some reviewers call inappropriate, and only 7 days of trends. The milk stash, pediatrician reports and longer trends are paid add-ons. As of November 2026 its site lists no widgets, Siri or Apple Watch app, and you need an account.

We build Milk Diary, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to be fair: if you want sleep, growth and feeding in one app on iPhone or Android, ParentLove is a real contender. If you want an ad-free feeding app with daily goals across every way you feed and no account, Milk Diary is the better fit.

Prices and features below were checked against ParentLove's own site, pricing page and privacy policy, its App Store and Google Play listings and recent App Store reviews in November 2026.

What ParentLove does well

Designed by an IBCLC

Co-founder Donatella is an IBCLC and pediatric sleep consultant, and it shows in the feeding detail: side timers for nursing, pump logs with per-side amounts, and breast milk and formula in one bottle.

Pay once

ParentLove has no subscription. Pro is $24.99 once, ProFamily is $39.99 once.

Free, flexible sharing

Invite unlimited caregivers for free, each with their own login, and choose what each person can see or edit.

Tracking beyond feeding

ParentLove covers sleep with wake-window reminders, growth, medicine and doctor visits alongside feeding on iPhone and Android.

Milk Bank tracking

The paid Milk Bank tracks freezer locations, expiration dates, first-in-first-out use and donations and pumped milk can go into it when you save a pump.

Where ParentLove falls short for families on the free version

Ads in the free version

The free version shows ads. Several App Store reviews in 2026 describe ads they found inappropriate for a baby app. Removing them takes the $9.99 Ad Free add-on or Pro.

Trends and the stash cost extra

Free trends cover the last 7 days. Longer trends, the Milk Bank stash and pediatrician reports are paid add-ons or part of Pro, and one reviewer wished trends weren't behind a paywall.

No widgets, Siri or Apple Watch listed

We found no widgets, Siri support or Apple Watch app on ParentLove as of November 2026 and App Store reviewers have asked for all three.

An account and their servers

You sign in to use ParentLove, and your logs sync through its servers.

What Milk Diary does well

No ads, ever

Milk Diary is funded by subscribers. The free version has no ads.

Goals for every way you feed

ParentLove has a pumping goal in its Milk Bank. Milk Diary builds daily goals around nursing, pumping and bottles together, developed with an IBCLC, so a day of combo feeding counts as progress.

No account, no servers

Milk Diary never asks for a login or email. Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud, and Milk Diary has no servers to store it.

Widgets and Siri

Log whole sessions with Siri, or describe your day in plain words and let Milk Diary build a pumping schedule. Home screen widgets keep your day in view.

Charts you build yourself

Build the charts you want to see, like supply trends or bottle volume over time.

What Milk Diary does not have

No sleep or medicine tracking, no Android app.

Who should choose which

Choose ParentLove if

  • You want sleep, growth, medicine and feeding in one app
  • You use Android

Choose Milk Diary if

  • You want daily goals across nursing, pumping and bottles
  • You want no ads in the free version
  • You'd rather your data stay on your device and in your own iCloud
  • You want widgets and Siri

How to switch from ParentLove

ParentLove exports a CSV with the Export add-on or Pro, or support will send you one for free. Save that file for your records. Milk Diary imports from Pump Log, Huckleberry and Nara Baby, but not from ParentLove yet.

Try Milk Diary before you decide

The fastest way to compare is with your own feeds. Download Milk Diary free: the free version tracks bottle feeds, pumps, nursing sessions and diapers, and Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. ParentLove's free version and 3-day Pro trial are there too if you want to run them side by side. See also how Milk Diary compares with Huckleberry, Pump Log and Nara Baby.

Very positive: 4.9 out of 5 from US App Store ratings and 4.9 from Google Play reviews. Parents praise free caregiver sharing, the one-time price and its pumping and combo feeding tools. Complaints focus on ads in the free version, trends behind a paywall and missing widgets, Siri and Apple Watch support.

Is ParentLove worth it?

If you want one app for feeding, sleep and growth and you prefer to pay once, yes. If you want an ad-free feeding app with goals and no account, Milk Diary is the better fit.

Does ParentLove have ads?

Yes, the free version shows ads. The Ad Free add-on, Pro or ProFamily removes them. Milk Diary has no ads, including in the free version.

Who makes ParentLove?
